Praise Starters!

We now have a prayer coordinator for the center!

JoAnne F. has agreed to lead our prayer efforts and plan some regular events to bring us together in prayer. In line with that, she is sending us weekly "praise starter" scriptures and prayer to help us focus and meditate on God as we go through the week. Here is what she sent us for this week:

THE ONLY GOD - (Isaiah 45:5)
"God, I praise you because you are the Lord, and there is no other; apart from [You] there is no God."

THE ALMIGHTY GOD - (Psalm 89:8)
"O Lord, God Almighty, who is like you? You are mighty, O Lord, and your faithfulness surrounds You."

Words Worth Following

I would like to share this blog with you. It's written by a pastor, Jon Swanson, and his simple, honest words have touched my heart. In 300 Words a Day he shares his thoughts on following Jesus. I hope you feel it's worth reading too, and that you'll share it with others. Let me know what you think.
